The B996 will be closed north of Glenfarg.
The B996 will be closed north of Glenfarg at the motorway over-bridge to allow bridge repairs, for a period of eight weeks from 28th February (estimated completion is 18th April). We have had to alter our timetable to accommodate the extra running time through the diversion via Gateside. For the period of the B996 closure, we will not be running through Bridge of Earn or serving the Bus Station in Perth as this will allow us to make up time lost in the diversion.
The bus will divert along the M90 between junction 9 and 10, and after calling at Canal St, it will proceed directly to Mill Street (Stance G). Passengers will still be able to book between Glenfarg and Old Edinburgh Road Ember stop in Bridge of Earn. Due to time constraints and continuing roadworks in Kinross, we will not be serving the Loch Leven Community Campus or Health Centre other than for passengers with mobility issues.
A copy of the temporary timetable is available on the 55 timetable page. The times of the 23 service are not changed due to the closure of the B996 but there may be knock on delays.
