Glenfarg Freewheelers is a group of community members who are keen to promote and support the use of e-bikes in and around our area. We now have a range of e bikes for anyone in the community to borrow for a small donation which will go towards repairs and maintenance of bikes. We link with Glenfarg Community transport, Greener Glenfarg and other community projects and arrange social rides and maintenance workshops.

Our aim is to:

• Provide access to e-bikes, safety equipment and accessories for all members of the community who are over 18 years of age
• Encourage active travel, reduce car use and improve health and well-being
• Provide access to training for bike maintenance and safe cycling
• Encourage social riding and families to cycle together
• Support community members to access employment and places of work by bicycle
• We aim to link up with other service providers such as Sustrans and other like-minded community groups
