From Monday 10 August until Saturday 22 August, roadworks on the approach to Perth will affect our 55 service.
To help maintain a reliable timetable, buses travelling towards Perth will divert via the M90 motorway at Junction 9 and then on over the Friarton Bridge. As a result, Bridge of Earn and Edinburgh Road will not be served during this period.
Exception: Passengers travelling north to or south from Bridge of Earn can pre-book to use the Ember bus stop (using the Ride Pingo App or call 0141 778 2042).
In Perth, the temporary route will serve only the following stops:
- Canal Street (stop ZO) (instead of Princes Street)
- Scott Street (stop W)
- Kinnoull Street (stop T)
- Bus Station (stance 1)
Buses will depart from the Bus Station at 30 minutes past each hour, from 09:30 until 16:30 and follow the Friarton Bridge/M90 route south.
We apologise for any inconvenience these temporary arrangements may cause. They are necessary to minimise delays and keep the service operating as reliably as possible while the roadworks are in place.
All other stops and scheduled departure times remain unchanged unless otherwise advised.
